Our Home Full of Heart to match our Heart Full of Home!

To build the house.
to place a split rail fence around the yard with stone columns on the 4 corners.
the rocks will make beautiful lays for flowers
mid way up the ridge on the east end. a small valley for run off where the slope goes down to create feet,
There a look out, a gazebo. with wood and stone paths. the loam makes for relaxing scents and the sight is beautiful.
from there i will be able to see the house and barn and all the farm.
the ridge will be the serene get away. a walk and a talk.
while the wind whispers to me.
the barn and the house will be,( like sights) in different directions.
Irises dafodils and roses will play and dance on the rock borders.
not just any rose but that of my grandmother rosalee. rare is it and its scent even the taste is sweet.
the black walnuts that still stand will not be harmed by any man.
call it a scent and a taste of my childhood for my children.
peonies and snow balls as well as the old timey lilac.
grape vines on the trelis.
apple, pear, peach and cherry trees.
we already have black berries galore.
Honey suckle here there and everywhere. sweet is its nectar and pleasant the scent also.
The house will be perfectly flawed with all inside and out.
tiny but grand.
Stack stones some interior and most out.
the smoke house i will build as my grandfather did. In exact size and shape.
Identical. for it was he who taught me.
a gathering place for summer and a barbequeing all year round.
the cast pots over the fires and pits in the ground.
the cane pulp pit and and all the stir offs we can have.
hand made quilts for my sons. by there mothers ageing hands.
And beds made from the cherry and walnut here that already lay.
the green fields with dafodils and crocus scattered about.
the white stone glancing up and out.
A treddle sewing machine handed down through the generations.
it will be the focus of gathering.
in the living room. and in the dining i will make great papaw proud and hand make the table
where we bow to the father to thank him and give glory for all.
the rest of the furniture will be antique and each peice will tell a story.
or at least hold one.
My dad, my brother and I used to cut wood for every one. I found the ax we used so it will be signed by us all.
And papaw still has those worn out baccer' knives.
they gave me the old corn sheller as well.
it was fun to play with.
the tobacco baskets are also there they have those old ragedy blankets still laid across em'.
Those old itchy chairs that you made the seat of weaved twine.
I love those old bow blades i still use them. as my grand parents and Cate trent did.
My inlaws actually for christmas finally heard me when i said dont spend a fortune but make it count.
they bought Sam and Virginia Presleys horse drawn plow and old metal cabinet for me.
Cost them only 50.00$ and both work well.
Oh and the old barn will be taken down piece by piece and placed on the interior walls of the house.
Some also will be frames and furniture peices.
